Grupo Cargoquin: Mexican leader in customs and logistics services

Since its creation 50 years ago, the logistics processes and supply chain solutions of Grupo Cargoquin have evolved and innovated.

Inició en 1969 como agencia aduanal en Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, bajo el nombre de Despachos Internacionales Aduanales, S.C., orientado únicamente al servicio de tramitación total de importación y exportación, clasificación arancelaria, consolidación y desconsolidación de mercancías.

In 1977 it became Servicios Aduanales Mexicanos, S.C. with plans to increase its national coverage,

In 1982 the company Cargoquin S.A. de C.V. was created to offer logistics services to and from anywhere in the world.

In 2001 the two companies merged into a single one to form Grupo Cargoquin S.A. de C.V.

In 2009, a new division, 3PL Services S.A. de C.V., was created with the task of devising innovative and comprehensive solutions capable of evolving in an industry undergoing constant change.

The 3PL System provides precise product storage and distribution control, consolidates cargo and coordinates shipping, administration, inventory control and retail services.

Since it was funded, the company has expanded its highly specialized offerings to include international maritime and air services, as well as transportation by land.

Grupo Cargoquin Nuevo Laredo and its importance for Oradel Industrial Center

Grupo Cargoquin Nuevo Laredo is one of the three companies that paved the way for the establishment of the Oradel Industrial Center in 2000.

Within Oradel, Grupo Cargoquin Nuevo Laredo implements the 3PL System, which features the storage, control and handling of national and international raw material and finished product inventories, as well as in-bond manufacturing of tangible products with infrastructure and skilled labor.

In addition, intangible services are provided such as quality inspection, packing or repackaging, bagging of materials (also known as “kitting”), sub-assembly, reworking, sorting of materials and recovery of materials from a kit.

Grupo Cargoquin Nuevo Laredo also has the IMMEX (Export Service In-bond Manufacturing Industry) program with a AAA license, under which it temporarily imports goods needed for industrial processes, as well as service goods for the production, transformation and repair of temporarily imported foreign goods that are then prepared for export.
